I saw a post on “Fashion Fillers” posted yesterday & saw Naeem Khan’s designs. I was intrigued, so I decided to have a look at Style[dot]com.

This is my favourite from New York Fashion Week 09 Ready To Wear collection by Naeem Khan. I much love this dress because I can tell it’s something cute that I would wear. It’s also one of Renee Sturme’s favourites that she posted on her blog, incase you’re wondering.

How To Start Your Own Blog

First of all, blogging requires more than dedication. You have to put in a lot more effort than you think, you’ll be waking up early & going to sleep late. That’s your schedule. Now you must learn how to run a successful blog & if you like the sound of it, you should continue blogging on your road to success!

Things You’ll Need:

Internet access (preferably in your own home).
A blog, obviously.
Time!

Step 1 — Find your “niche”. This is just a topic that is popular enough to interest a lot other people. Here at ___ my niche is “How to” articles. The topic, or niche, can be as broad or as narrow as you want. It just has to be something others will be interested in reading.

Step 2 — Create an attractive & professional blog template or design. Make sure you use a font that is easily readable & the colours of your blog don’t hurt a readers eyes by being too outstanding!

Step 3 — Make a posting schedule & stick to it. People will want to visit your blog, if there are never any new posts to see. Once a day blog posting is ideal for keeping the reader’s interest, though you can be successful posting once a week as well. Make each blog post on topic & informative. Add humor, graphics, anything you can, to catch even more attention.

Step 4 — Market your blog to get traffic & visitors. While some may find your blog on the search engines, you can increase your success by doing a few simple things. Submit your blog to blog directories. Submit your RSS or atom feeds to feed directories. Link to your blog in email, forums, and on other blogs and websites.

Step 6 — Persevere! It is hard to create a successful blog in a few weeks, but if you keep working steadily, the traffic will eventually build.

What’s In Your Bag?

I’ve seen a whole bunch of photos on Flickr & such. So I thought I’d post what’s in my bag. At the moment all my stuff is spread out over my bedroom floor, therefore I’m just going to write out what I’ve got in there.

At the moment I have my iPod classic, Nokia e65 mobile phone, Sony digital camera and pink Nintendo DS Lite as my main technology consoles sitting in my hand bag. I have three house keys, spare coin change and a bunch of old bus tickets, a couple of pairs of sunglasses & papaw ointment. Louis Vuitton wallet, another wallet, a little purse filled with jewelry. I also have some bobby pins & my brand new sketchbook as well as some new water colour pencils. So, what’s in your bag?
